The Forney ISD Special Education Department will hold an information meeting for parents of students who are home schooled on Thursday, May 24 at 10 a.m. regarding available services from Forney ISD.
Laura Holt has been named the new Director of Special Populations by the Forney Independent School District. Holt replaces Cindy Riney who is retiring at the end of the current school year. Click here for more details.
National Honor Society applications are now available for Forney High School and North Forney High students. Sophomores, juniors and seniors who feel they meet the acceptance criteria are encouraged to apply. NHS forms can be picked up in the front office of both high schools.

With the implementation of STAAR™, students in the 3rd through 9th grade during the 2011-2012 school year will have different graduating requirements than students who are currently in the 10th through 12th grade.
