The annual FamFest event is back for its second year! In order to get involved please see below for additional information about the event!

This year we will be bringing local Forney food trucks and vendors out for the day. An eating area will be designated for friends and family to gather and socialize while they consume some of Forney's best local eateries. Prices will vary based on the food truck.

Big Pink Volleyball
To register for Big Pink Volleyball click here. Registration is $25 per player and all ages are welcome. When registering, ensure that you register for your team or create your own team for others to join. Each player will receive a FamFest shirt.
Forney ISD Faculty/Staff members or any families with students enrolled in the federal Free/Reduced Lunch program may register using the discount code "famfest2022" to receive a reduced rate of $15 per person.
Teams consist of at least five players. There is a limit of 20 total teams for this event. If your team does not have the minimum number of players listed on its roster by Dec. 1, your team will be dropped and a team from the waitlist will be moved into your place.
The event will begin at 10am with all teams randomly seeded into a two-game guarantee bracket. This means each team will receive at minimum two games. Teams that win will be able to continue on in the tournament. Teams that lose, or teams that are not currently playing, are invited to attend the Holly Jolly Market located throughout the school. All games will be played in the Johnson Elementary School Gymnasium.

FEF Antlers and Tutus Fun Run
Come join the fun for a 5K or 1 Mile Fun Run at the new Johnson Elementary in Overland Grove. All registrants receive a race shirt and breakfast with Santa will be served after the event. We will have an onsite photographer available for pictures with Santa so be sure to wear Antlers and Tutus. Bring the kids to enjoy all the after-run festivities at Johnson Elementary with FamFest by Forney ISD Department of Engagement.Teams are welcome and encouraged! This is a timed event and 5k participants are eligible for medals (male and female - 1st, 2nd, 3rd) in the following age groups:9 and under10-1415-1920-2930-3940-4950-5960+ -

Wares include many items, such as holiday ornaments, books, decorations and more! Come see for yourself what Forney has to offer and show your support for local Forney vendors.

The Holly Jolly Market is free to enter, but prices on different items will vary. Most vendors will accept cash, venmo or other forms of electronic payment. The doors will open at 9AM (time subject to change) and will remain open until 4PM.
