    New Employee Orientation

    Details regarding New Employee Orientation are still in the works, but for now, please hold July 27 - July 31 on your calendar. More information will be posted here as it is available.

    New Employee Orientation fulfills your Professional Learning Exchange time for the 2020-21 school year, which allows you to be off for Fall Break in October without being docked. For this reason, it is critical that you sign in each day, so that we can accurately record your session attendance and credit your days. If you will be unable to attend any part of New Employee Orientation, please complete this form after you have communicated the conflict with your supervisor. We will follow-up with further information about the availability of make-ups or materials in the coming weeks. 


    Like other TRS-participating districts, Forney ISD's benefit plan year runs from September 1 - August 31. If you will be joining our team in the summer when our benefit year is starting over, your enrollment can seem a little bit confusing - but it doesn't have to be! Below is a quick guide to completing your enrollment quickly and easily. 

    If you've never worked for a school district, or you need coverage prior to September 1:

    If you only need coverage on/after September 1: 

    If you are covered through September 1 by another district or employer, you can find an overview of our 2020-21 benefits offerings and Annual Enrollment here. Our Annual Enrollment will be July 15 - August 21, 2020.

    Employee Handbook

    The current (2019-20) Employee Handbook is available for review here. Once you've completed your technology setup, you will be able to access the 2020-21 Employee Handbook on Canvas or through your TEAMS Employee Service Center.


    Technology Access

    Once you've completed your in-person intake session and completed your required paperwork, watch your email for instructions on setting up your district technology accounts.

    I am a teacher with a Masters degree. When will I see my Masters stipend reflected in my check?

    Your Masters stipend will be added when your official transcript is received by your HR Case Manager.
