• Students in Foster Care

    Children in foster care face many obstacles that impact their ability to be successful in school.  Forney ISD is dedicated to improving educational outcomes for children in foster care by upholding educational stability to the greatest extent possible.  

    To streamline enrollment of foster children, foster parents are required to enroll their students at the campus in their attendance zone.  They should provide Form 2085, which designates that the student is in the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services Managing Conservatorship.

    Along with our commitment to help increase stability in the educational setting, we also have teamed with multiple, local non-profit organizations who are ready to provide further assistance.
