    • FCC agreement stating that providers will waive late fees, not cutoff service for lack of payment, and open hot-spots.
    • Comcast COVID-19 response: offers free WiFi for 2 months to low income families plus all Xfinity hot-spots are free to the public during this time

    • AT&T COVID-19 response: offers open hot-spots, unlimited data to existing customers, and $10/month plans to low income families

    • Verizon COVID-19 response: no special offers, but following the FCC agreement.

    • Sprint COVID-19 response: follows FCC agreement, provides unlimited data to existing customers, and, starting Tuesday, 3/17/2020, will allow all handsets to enable hot-spots for 60 days at no extra charge.

    • T-Mobile COVID-19 response: follows FCC agreement, plus unlimited data to existing customers, and, coming soon, will allow all handsets to enable hot-spots for 60 days at no extra charge.

    • Peoples Internet: Free Setup/30 Days Free Internet Service - visit peoplescom.net or call 1-800-333-9779.

    • Kajeet: Kajeet offers Smartspot as a product offering and they have the ability to connect to 6 different 4G LTE networks. The nice part about this product is that it is a filtered hotspot. Here is a link to their website to get more information and pricing:

    • Sprint - Sprint offers a program called Sprint for ConnectED. This program might be something worth exploring. I am not sure how long it would take to execute and obtain the devices.

    • Comcast - Low-income families in the Comcast service area can sign up for 60 days of complimentary Internet Essentials service, which is normally available to all qualified low-income households for $9.95/month. Also, Comcast is increasing Internet speeds for the Internet Essentials service from 15/2 Mbps to 25/3 Mbps for all new and existing customers, which will be the speed of the service going forward. To sign up, applicants can simply visit www.internetessentials.com. There are also two dedicated phone numbers 1-855-846-8376 for English and 1-855-765-6995 for Spanish.     • Sparklight

      Sparklight has made unlimited data available on all internet services for the next 30 days.

      Late fees are waived for customers for the next 60 days.

      Customers who call to make arrangements can obtain payment deferrals. Sparklight plans to reassess after 30 days based on the continued impact and evolving nature of the virus.

      Sparklight’s Wi-Fi hotspots are open to the public across Sparklight’s footprint.

    • Spectrum

      Beginning March 16, Charter will offer free Spectrum broadband and Wi-Fi access for 60 days to households with K-12 and/or college students who do not already have a Spectrum broadband subscription and at any service level up to 100 Mbps.

    • Suddenlink

      For households with K-12 and/or college students who may be displaced due to school closures and who do not currently have home internet access, Altice USA is offering its Altice Advantage 30 Mbps broadband solution for free for 60 days to new customer households within our footprint. Eligible households interested in this solution can call 888-633-0030 to enroll in the Suddenlink region, which includes Texas.

    • Charter Communications

      To ease the strain in this challenging time, beginning Monday, March 16, Charter commits to the following for 60 days: 

      • Charter will offer free Spectrum broadband and Wi-Fi access for 60 days to households with K-12 and/or college students who do not already have a Spectrum broadband subscription and at any service level up to 100 Mbps.       • Charter will partner with school districts to ensure local communities are aware of these tools to help students learn remotely. Charter will continue to offer Spectrum Internet Assist, high speed broadband program to eligible low-income households delivering speeds of 30 Mbps.
      • Charter will open its Wi-Fi hotspots across our footprint for public use.
      • Spectrum does not have data caps or hidden fees.
