How will students be selected for Virtual Academy?
Students may elect to attend Virtual Academy based on the admissions criteria. If the Virtual Academy is full, applicants will be placed on a waitlist and contacted if a space becomes available. Upon acceptance into Virtual Academy, students commit to participation for the entire school year.

Can students switch to and from Virtual Academy during the school year?
Students selected for Virtual Academy commit to one year at a time.
The district reserves the right to change a student's learning environment to in-person learning if a student does not meet expectations throughout the school year.

What is the time commitment each day for full-time online and flex programming?
Senate Bill 15 has set a minimum of 240 instructional minutes for student learning each day. Therefore, students will be required to engage in the learning each day to be counted present.

Will transportation be provided for full-time online students?
Students in the full-time online program will need to provide their own transportation for required assessments and interventions.

Will transportation be provided for students in the flex program?
Students in the flex program will need to provide their own transportation to and from campus for their face-to-face courses.
