Aquatic Center Expansion

Forney ISD is proud to announce a transformative expansion of its innovative and flexible learning spaces into a dynamic, multi-use facility designed to serve learners of all ages—from toddlers to senior adults—and redefine education, wellness, and community engagement in Forney.

Much of the expansion is being funded through construction cost savings from the 2019 bond projects. Facilities will open in phases over the next two years, with full completion expected by Fall 2027. 

It will include expanded aquatics for all ages with:

• Learn-to-swim classes for young children,
• 2nd grade water safety instruction,
• Senior water aerobics, and
• Enhanced training for Forney’s award-winning swim, dive, and water polo teams.

Forney ISD invites the entire community to be part of this exciting journey toward a more engaged, inspired, and connected future with even more opportunities in the future.
