Middle School Swim
Forney ISD Aquatics is excited to launch middle school swim! Students at Brown Middle School, Jackson Middle School, Themer Middle School, and Warren Middle School will join Forney ISD for a four week UIL middle school swim team available for 7th and 8th graders. Forney and North Forney Aquatics coaches will teach the basic fundamentals of swimming. FISD Lifeguards will be present for additional safety.
Tryouts will be held on March 25 and March 27 from 4PM to 5:30 PM. Practices will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5pm to 6pm April 7th through April 30th. Students will participate in a swim meet on April 30 from 5PM-6PM.
Important information:
-Students must register for a swim test to join their Middle School swim team. Students will be told if they make the team following the swim test. Sign up using this link: https://bit.ly/3Fc7zks
-Limited to 10 kids per middle school
-Students must show up to practice in their swim-suits. No changing at the facility.
-Female swimsuit must be a one piece
-Male suits an be either Speedos or swim suit jammers
-Must supply their own goggles, swim cap, and towel
-No parents allowed on the pool deck during practices
-Must have physical and Rank One completed
-Parents must transport their child to and from practice
