Mission Statement
Playing sports can promote a healthy lifestyle and teach kids transferrable skills that they use far into adult life. Being on a team teaches kids valuable social skills. They learn how to share, value diverse skillsets, trust others, and support and encourage one another. Forney ISD is dedicated to developing a well-rounded youth sports program that anyone can join. As we begin this undertaking, there will be a limit on the grade levels and number of spaces available, but we have plans to continue to grow this program to include additional students each year. We will also continually add sports to the program as long as we find a need in the community to offer those sports.
Starting in the Spring of 2024, Forney ISD will offer a youth volleyball league for 3rd-6th grade students at the Keith Bell Opportunity Central. All games and practices will be scheduled at The OC. In an effort to follow UIL policy and ensure fair play and equal playing time, all students will attend an evaluation night prior to team placement. View the links below for a coaches handbook, rule books for each sport and more!
Important note: registration refund requests will only be honored prior to team formation. Once teams have been formed refund requests will not be processed.
All questions can be directed to Jake Walker.
