The effective use of information technology (IT) significantly benefits both the students and staff of Forney ISD in a variety of ways. Through IT, our students are provided enhanced modes of learning, while developing the skills that will be necessary to compete in their future society. Likewise, today's use of IT by district staff results in an overall increase in productivity, accuracy and creativity.
To ensure these benefits are realized, Forney ISD maintains an IT strategy that is fully integrated with district curriculum and professional needs.

IT Support Services
The IT Support Services team is responsible for providing general IT support and ensuring the functionality of IT Hardware to Staff and Students. These responsiblities include:
- Campus TechSpots
- Classroom IT Hardware
- Staff and Student IT Hardware
- Support Documentation
- Facility Access Control
- Security Cameras
The Information Services team is responsible for all System Administration and oversees the day-to-day operations of Forney ISD's business and student information systems. These responsiblities include:
- Account Management (MyFISD)
- BIS (Frontline)
- SIS (Skyward)
- Software and Application Management
The Infrastructure Services team is responsible for the planning, implementation, and maintenance of all IT Infrastructure and physical plant. These responsiblities include:
- Network Administration
- Server Administration
- Telephone Services
- PA Systems
