Student Transfers
A Student Transfer Request may be submitted for:
- Students who reside in the Forney ISD boundaries and are currently enrolled in a FISD school and are requesting a transfer to another FISD school.
- Students of Full time FISD employees who do not reside in the Forney ISD boundaries.
Transfers are based on specific criteria (see Transfer Request Q & A on the left drop down under Student Transfers).
Reasons for Transfer Include:
- Sibling of special populations students
- Employee children
- Moving to an Engage Opportunity
- Safety
- Change of residency
- Child of a peace officer/servicemember
The 2026 Transfer Request form is no longer available for general transfers. If you are an employee of the district or if you have a transfer request that meets district policy and criteria for transfers, please submit an email to edperdue@forneyisd.net with the reason you are requesting the transfer. If applicable, she will send you the link to the form.
