Approved Fall 2022 Elementary Attendance Zone Modifications
-
With the opening of Willett Elementary and relocation of Johnson Elementary in the Fall of 2022, new Elementary attendance zones for Fall 2022 were approved by the Forney ISD Board of Trustees Monday, December 6, 2021.
The Elementary attendance zone changes for Fall 2022 only impacts Kindergarten through 4th grade students, primarily in the Henderson, Johnson, Lewis, and Crosby Elementary Schools.
The district has three separate zoning maps that are independent of each other: (1) elementary, (2) intermediate and middle, and (3) high school. Intermediate, middle, and high school attendance zone boundaries will NOT change for Fall 2022.
All current 4th-12th grade students will remain in their current feeder patterns, and will not be impacted by the attendance zone modification.

- Unchanged High School Attendance Zone Map (remains unchanged)
As always, special programs, such as Pre-K and ECSE, are evaluated annually and location is based on enrollment and capacity. The current proposal will keep dual language for Kindergarten-4th grade at Criswell, and the Advanced Academics and Fine Arts Academy, currently composed of Kindergarten-3rd grade students, at Blackburn for fall 2022.
