The Forney High School Band has once again showcased its exceptional talent and dedication, earning 20th place in the 2025 UIL State Marching Band Championship for Class 6A. This remarkable achievement places Forney among the top marching ensembles in Texas and the nation.

Reaching the state stage represents far more than a ranking — it reflects countless hours of rehearsal, the unwavering commitment of students and directors, and the ongoing support of the Forney community. Competing in Class 6A, the most competitive division in Texas, is a challenge in itself, and finishing in the top 20 highlights the band’s musical precision, visual creativity, and unity.

The Forney band program continues to be a source of district pride, consistently raising the bar for student musicians. As the program grows within the 6A division, Forney’s young performers have embraced every new challenge with maturity and determination. Their success is a testament to teamwork, perseverance, and passion for the performing arts.

As Forney High School celebrates this milestone, one thing is certain — the Forney Band has earned its place among Texas’s finest, and they’re only getting started.
