Forney’s First and Only Escape Room Experience is NOW OPEN: Visit Novus Escape Room at The OC

FORNEY, TX (October 23, 2025) — Get ready to unlock adventure! Forney ISD is excited to announce the grand opening of Novus Escape Room, the first and only escape room experience in Forney, located inside The Opportunity Central (The OC).

Novus Escape Room features six immersive, story-driven challenges that combine puzzle-solving, teamwork and storytelling in unique ways. Each themed room accommodates 2–6 players and offers a unique mix of mystery and excitement.

Guests can explore a variety of experiences, from family-friendly quests to thriller stories that test players’ brainpower and logic skills. Traveling through time in Capsule, containing a failed experiment in Section 13 or restoring time in Wonderland, every adventure at Novus offers a one-of-a-kind challenge designed to engage players of all ages. To celebrate the opening, Novus Escape Room will host a Grand Opening Week from Tuesday, October 28 through Sunday, November 2, featuring a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony on Tuesday, October 28 at 4:00 PM. Guests are invited to join in the festivities and enjoy exclusive prizes, refreshments, giveaways and plenty of fun.

Operated by Forney ISD students through the district’s Future Ready opportunities, Novus Escape Room provides real-world work experience in customer service, management and hospitality while delivering high-quality entertainment to the community.

“This new addition is another step toward The OC’s mission of being a student-run enterprise where hands-on learning meets community engagement,” said Dr. Justin Terry, Forney ISD Superintendent. “Our students are not only developing future-ready skills, they’re helping create experiences that bring people together.”

Saturday | 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Sunday | 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Opportunity Central (The OC) is Forney ISD’s multipurpose 350,000-square-foot campus redefining the future of education and community connection.
