North Forney Lady Falcons Make Impressive Run to the Regional Finals

The North Forney Lady Falcons capped off an unforgettable volleyball season with a powerful run to the Regional Finals, marking one of the most successful years in program history. Along the way, the team claimed titles as Bi-District Champions, Area Champions, and Regional Semifinal Champions, showcasing grit, unity, and championship level execution at every stage.

Head Coach Jose Marrero credits the team’s success to their unwavering commitment to the athletic version of the FISD values, principles that guide the Lady Falcons both on and off the court. These core values, visible throughout their locker room and feeder programs, form the identity of North Forney Volleyball:

Coach Marrero shared that this season was defined by far more than volleyball alone. It was a journey of growth, resilience, and heart. Players battled through adversity, overcame personal challenges, and embraced the selflessness required to compete for something bigger than themselves.

“This season was about resilience, growth, and heart,” Marrero said. “Our girls learned to grind through adversity, overcome personal struggles, and put the team above themselves. Watching them stay united, live out our values, and make history for North Forney as a 6A school has been one of the most rewarding experiences as a coach. They did that.”
