FORNEY, TX – The North Forney Winterguard achieved a historic milestone this weekend at the NTCA State Championships, competing in the most challenging classification in the program’s history.
Their preliminary performance of "Paper Airplanes" impressed the judges and earned them a 7th place ranking, securing their first-ever spot in the NTCA Finals—a groundbreaking achievement for North Forney!
In the Finals, the team delivered an emotional and powerful performance, earning their highest score of the season—78.84—and climbing two spots to finish 5th overall.
“This team’s dedication, resilience, and passion truly set them apart,” said Director Mr. Brown. “Making school history and competing at this level is a testament to their relentless hard work and commitment to excellence.”
