The Ultimate Holiday Showdown is happening at The OC on Saturday - Dec 7

Featuring free photos with Santa, a ‘Home Alone’ and ‘Elf’ double feature, Texas-style wrestling and more!

December is here and so is a full calendar of activities at The Opportunity Central (The OC). Looking for things for the whole family to do this Saturday? Check out the December to Remember events at The OC, presented by Texas Health.

Reserved slots are full, but walk-ins are welcome to visit Santa and Mrs. Claus between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. in the Green Room. Photography students will be on hand to take photos in the Winter Wonderland. Donations to the program will be accepted.

It’s time for holiday music and the Forney ISD choirs are excited to present seasonal favorites out front of The OC next to the 35-foot tall Christmas tree. Student choirs will perform every 30 minutes between noon and 5 p.m. Come enjoy the sounds of the season with these talented performers.

End the day with a free double feature of two holiday classics on the jumbo screen — Home Alone at 5:30 p.m. and Elf at 7:30 p.m. — in the Arena. The OC eateries will be open, offering a variety of meals and snacks, including popcorn. Families are invited to bring a blanket to experience the movies from the Arena floor, chairs will be provided for floor seating as well.
