Middle and High School Esports
Calling all gamers!
Forney ISD Esports has quickly grown into a dominant power in Texas scholastic gaming. Designed to provide a pipeline for scholarships and tech careers, the program launched district-wide for grades 1–12 to engage students outside of traditional extracurriculars. The district solidified its competitive presence by centralizing high school training at The OC (Opportunity Central), an advanced career and technology academy. This structural investment led to immense success, including a second-place regional finish in Marvel Rivals that earned full-ride college scholarships for multiple players. The program reached a historic milestone at the 2026 Texas Scholastic Esports Federation (TexSEF) State Championship, where Forney ISD led the entire state with a record-shattering 30 state qualifiers who balanced their gaming dominance with an impressive 3.89 average GPA
