Graduation

Student graduates will arrive at their high school campus where they will load a bus and be transported to The OC. This will ensure campus parking availability and reduce traffic congestion.

Before loading the bus at the campus, students should be ready in cap and gown and campus admin will check before departing campus.

Students should not bring anything on the bus with them (keys and phone, if necessary, should be placed in pockets). Students will not be able to leave/store items in the OC theatre during graduation.

Bottled water will be available for graduates at The OC in the theatre.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, graduates will be dismissed on both east and west sides of the parking lot. Families should plan to meet their graduates at their vehicles. Cell phone reception may not be that strong, so we recommend that you designate a family meeting area ahead of time. Free Wi-Fi is available.

All guests, visitors, students and staff will be scanned through the weapons detection system upon entry to The OC. All carried items and entrants are subject to search. Prohibited items must be returned to the owner’s car or discarded. Any unlawful items are subject to confiscation, and the person in possession of such item is subject to arrest. Items left at the door will be discarded.

• No video cameras or cameras with lenses greater than 6”

• No flags, posters or banners

• No outside food or beverages

• No noisemakers

• No umbrellas

• No balloons

• No weapons

• No animals (excluding certified service animals)

• No smoking/vaping

• No wrapped gifts

All guests must have a ticket to enter The OC. Seating is first-come, first-served general admission. If your family needs ADA accommodations, please let an usher know when you arrive in the arena. Tickets will be distributed to graduating seniors at the graduation rehearsal. We do not distribute graduation tickets to anyone other than the graduating seniors. Graduating seniors can distribute their tickets to family and friends.

Quintana Photography photographs every graduate at the ceremony. All graduates will receive an email following graduation with information on how to access and purchase photos.

Campus employees will dismiss the graduates at the end of the ceremony. While graduates are being dismissed, families and guests should exit the venue and go directly to their vehicles. Families and graduates should make plans to meet at another location after the ceremony.
