Program Structure

Forney ISD is offering two programs that allow 5th-12th grade students the ability to find a flexible educational program to fit their needs.

Hybrid Program
The hybrid program will allow students to take classes both online and on campus. A class on campus may include any extracurricular, and/or core class offered on the campus. The student must be scheduled for the class, as there is no "drop-in" option. Virtual Academy classes for a student must be completed off-campus due to limited space and capacity on campuses. Transportation will not be provided.
Full-time Online Program
The full-time online program will allow students to take all of their courses online. (See “Course Offerings” for online courses that are offered.) Students will be required to report to FVA campus for mandatory face-to-face tutorials and assessments. Transportation will not be provided.
