Forney ISD is growing and growing fast! Each year in November, we review our attendance zones to ensure we have space to accommodate all of our current and future students.

With the opening of the new Dewberry Elementary in the Fall of 2023, our annual review and attendance zone modification will impact only elementary (K-4th) families, primarily in the current Crosby, Griffin, and Blackburn zones.

A draft of the proposed attendance zone modifications with a link to submit questions will be shared with families on Friday, Nov. 11 via email and can be found here on our website. Forney ISD will host an informational presentation on the proposed attendance zone modification plan on Monday, November 14 at 6 p.m. in the Forney ISD Administration Board Room, 600 S. Bois D’Arc Street.
