Each season, senior football players choose an educator that has impacted them deeply to be recognized and wear their jersey on Senior Night. This year, players chose to honor Officer Partin from the Forney ISD Police Department.
In a previous episode of the Forney ISD Athletics One2Six Podcast, Police Chief Sanders said, "Everyone that walked in the door that interviewed for a position with this department knew that we were educators first. We are here to keep people safe, but we are educators and mentors to those students first...It takes a special person to work in school based law enforcement."
