Beginning today, Forney ISD IT will be enabling Bitlocker features on all Windows devices. Bitlocker is a security feature in Windows that encrypts data saved on the PC, preventing it from being inappropriately accessed in the event of theft, loss, or disposal.

There is no action required on your part for Bitlocker to be enabled. Once the process starts on your device, you may receive a prompt to reboot your PC, but you can decline and Bitlocker will complete its work after your next restart.
