Synergy

Forney ISD has developed a unique, innovative, new student leadership program called Synergy. Synergy is an educational program for high school students in Forney ISD that provides students the opportunity to learn and work in a real-world work environment!

Students in Synergy enroll in practicum classes for two or three periods a day.  During this time, they travel to the district's central administration building and work side-by-side with district leaders.  This past year, students in Synergy have:

• Presented at state-wide conferences
• Participated in district leadership meetings
• Created videos, graphics, and other resources for the district
• Assisted curriculum writers in vetting exemplar lessons
• Learned valuable life and career skills in a real-world setting
• And much, much more!
